Scientific Background


The scientific literature regarding the health benefits of lactic fermentation is very voluminous.

On this Web page we only intend to provide links to some recent results of scientific research pertaining to the lactic fermentation, used in the Bio Lacto products, as we become aware of them.

As a starter we provide a link to recent, April 1998, press release from the University of North Carolina concerning research done there on lactic acid bacteria (LAB) by Dr. Fred Breidt.
